A few years ago the ATR Awards Committee decided to create a special award to honor trail horses; our special companions who make riding the wonderful pasttime that it is.  With a generous donation from Wendi and Brian Miller, Professional Electrical Services, Inc. we purchased a perpetual trophy for the "Trail Horse of the Year".   Each year, the trophy will be presented to the owner of the horse of the year for them to keep on display for one year.  Then it will go onto the next horse and owner.  Enjoy reading about these wonderful horses and the riders who love them.
